This
site has been created by a team of disabled people from Norfolk, to help
celebrate The European Year of Disabled People 2003. Our aim is to explore
what the future might bring.
We recently completed a drawn animation course. We have used our new skills to produce a series of short sketches inspired by our hopes and dreams for the future. To meet us and see our work, please click Animations. We have also searched the web for exciting developments in technology and new ideas about the society we live in. The best sites we have found are organised into the following three areas: To comment on anything you find on our site, please visit our discussion board here. To send any images, flash animations or creative writing to add to the site, please e-mail your contribution to Media Projects East here. If you would like to talk about your idea first, please e-mail Ann Young. "I know that
the new technologies are already making a real difference to the lives
of disabled people. This website helps to show this by using information
technology in a fresh and original way. It embraces the European theme
of 'Rights and Participation" by showing how, via the internet,
we can all have a voice in shaping the society of tomorrow. I feel its
very important to share new ideas and thoughts about the kind of world
science and technology is helping us evolve. His Royal Highness The Duke of Kent KG Please click here to see details of the Lord Mayors New Horizons Fund Appeal. |
